How every course works

The same rhythm, every single unit

Eight units per course. Six activities per unit. Predictable for students, easy for parents to follow.

Activities 1–3

The hook video, the core concept read, and a quick check. Every student can taste every unit of every course without paying a cent.

Full access

Activities 4–6

The interactive virtual lab, the deep dive, and the unit challenge. This is where the doing happens — and where certificates and Tech Rank badges are earned.

Standards alignment

Built against ISTE and CSTA, not invented in-house

Every course maps to real, published K-12 computer science and digital-learning standards — the same frameworks schools already use to evaluate curriculum. The short codes on each course card below (e.g. CSTA 2-CS, ISTE 1.5) point to the specific standard that course is built around.

ISTE Standards for Students

International Society for Technology in Education

Seven learner competencies — Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. Our courses are tagged with the specific competency each one develops.

CSTA K-12 CS Standards

Computer Science Teachers Association

Grade-banded computer science concepts and practices (Level 1B for grades 3–5, Level 2 for grades 6–8, Level 3A for grades 9–10). Our band split mirrors these grade bands, and each course is tagged with the CSTA concept area it draws from (e.g. Computing Systems, Networks & the Internet, Algorithms & Programming).

This mapping is a curriculum-design reference, not a formal ISTE or CSTA certification — DigiLabs is not endorsed by, or affiliated with, ISTE or CSTA.

Start here · no experience needed

Wonder first. Animated videos, picture guides and printables, written for a grown-up to join in. Suggested for ages 8 and up.

Level 2 & 3 · the career track

One path, in order. Level 2 opens up what's inside the technology you use every day; Level 3 is the industry vocabulary and the job skills employers recognise. Take them in sequence whatever your age — Level 2 assumes nothing beyond curiosity.

Why students finish

Something real to hold at the end

Certificates that count

Finish a course and a verification-coded certificate generates automatically — formal enough for a high schooler's portfolio or college application.

Tech Ranks

Finish courses to rank up — Apprentice, Technician, Specialist, Expert, Master Builder — with a collectible achievement badge for every course along the way. The digital badge lands in the portal instantly; the physical version is 3D-printed from recycled filament, because a virgin-plastic badge from an e-waste company would miss the point.

Plans

One-time payment. Lifetime access. No subscriptions.

Pay once for the grade band you need, or get everything. Plans differ only on how much you unlock — never on lesson quality.
